About Milford Mennonite Church
About us:
Milford Mennonite Church is a vibrant community of believers dedicated to following the teachings of Jesus Christ. Our church is committed to serving the Milford area through various ministries and outreach programs. We strive to create a welcoming environment for individuals and families to grow in their faith and connect with others. At Milford Mennonite Church, we believe in the power of community and the impact of living out our faith in practical ways. Our church is a place where everyone is valued, and we invite you to join us on this spiritual journey.
Meet our pastors:

Aaron Policky
Aaron Policky joined the leadership team at MMC serving as a bi-vocational pastor in July of 2025 while also owning and operating The Sprinkler Guy. He and his wife Allison have led and been a part of the Milford High School FCA huddle since 2016. Aaron and Allison live in Milford with their three children. Aaron is passionate about sharing the love of Jesus and walking alongside people exactly where they are at on their journey. Aaron is hardworking, has a big heart, and eager to help others grow in their faith. He loves Jesus, loves people, and believes ministry can happen just as much in backyards as it does in the church.
“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.”
Ephesians 4:2

DJ Yoder
D.J. Yoder has served as a bi-vocational pastor of Milford Mennonite Church since July 2025, while also working full-time as a self-proclaimed “computer nerd.” He and his wife Karlette live in Milford with their four children, two dogs, and a growing number of farm cats. D.J. believes the message of Jesus isn’t just something to believe, it’s a whole new way of being human that brings joy and healing to our lives and to a broken world. His heart is for the church to be a safe place where anyone can come just as they are and encounter the transforming love and kindness of God.
“Do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8

Aaron Steckly
Aaron Steckly joined the leadership team at MMC in 2025 with a focus on serving the youth. He and his wife Bryli have been MYF (Mennonite Youth Fellowship) leaders since 2018. Aaron works full-time designing sprinkler packages for pivots across the Midwest, and overtime helping on the family farm west of Milford, where he lives with Bryli and their 3 children. Aaron’s desire is to see the Holy Spirit continue to pour into the hearts
of the younger generation, equipping them with wisdom and confidence so they can be ready to SERVE and SHARE the love of Christ inside and outside their communities. He believes in building relationships with people, just as God so graciously offers us an
eternal relationship with Him through the work of His Son, Jesus!
“We love because He first loved us.” 1 John 4:19

Ben Ramirez
Ben Ramirez joined the leadership team at MMC in July of 2025. Ben and Dawnia have been married for 31 years and have 6 children and 2 grandchildren. Ben works full-time for the University of Lincoln and spends his spare time camping, working around the house and spending time with family and friends. His deepest desire is to follow the Spirit and hopes to be a living testimony of God's healing, restoration, and adoption into His family. Ben's heart is to reflect the compassion of Jesus — to sit with the broken, to walk alongside the weary, to remind the hurting that they are seen and loved by God.
"The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you or forsake you. So not be afraid; so not be discouraged." Deuteronomy 31:8
